Hello from all of us here at GreenFoot nestled in the Green Mountains of Vermont!

We want to welcome you to our blog, and ask you to return often. This blog is going to be real and relatable. When I say real - this is what I mean.

GreenFoot is a FAMILY business dedicated to raising awareness, in a grassroots way about the importance of reducing our carbon footprint. We consider anyone who is serious about this issue as FAMILY!

We will be using this blog as a vehicle to keep the FAMILY informed about all kinds of important environmental issues. We will also be keeping you apprised of the day-to-day excitement here at GreenFoot.

Our new environmental awareness movement, GreenFoot, was born out of a discussion with our children as to how to live a greener way of life that protects and cherishes our environment.

We believe that living greener should not be as complicated as it seems to have become. We think that it is important to remember that the research that tells us although our planet is in trouble, it is the same research that shows that, if we begin NOW, we can make a large and positive impact on saving the earth - our family’s home.

This site will be providing tips that will have you saying”Hey, now there is something I can do that will make a difference”.

Our philosophy begins where all great change begins - start small and just keep growing in your green awareness. Every action, no matter how tiny helps. That is what it is all about. The tips provided will be simple to implement in your daily routine and that is why you will love them and be back for more.
